Oxford is much more fun than Starkville, but Starkville seems to have more down to earth people. That's just my opinion, which could be swayed cause I go to MSU.

Said every State student ever. It's time to come up with more creative cliches.

Even though I hate my hometown, I'd like to give Cleveland a shout out for one of the best small towns in Mississippi. The smithsonian institute rated Cleveland as the 2nd best small town in the country.

Starkville has a lot of potential. It wouldn't be very difficult to make it a lot better, but there are too many old hucklebucks in town that don't like change, good change. That also goes for much of the state in general.

I dislike Starkville because I hate down-to-earth people. They're so plebeian and probably partake of base sorts of entertainment like watching sports and drinking 3 year old blended scotch. Give me effete snobs any day of the week.
