Interesting point. Is Judaism an ethnicity or a religion? Is Muslim? To me, one thing that makes this conflict such a hot button is that they confuse one with the other, especially the Arab side of the equation. Keep in mind, there are lots and lots of people who practice Islam in the world that aren't ethnic Arabs. And there are plenty of peaceful people from that part of the world who contribute to our economy as physicians, professors and the like.

And there are plenty of Jewish people who aren't ethnically Irsaeli. Or at least, that part of their DNA is dozens or hundreds of generations back.

I think it makes it really difficult for western countries to fully understand conflicts in that part of the world, where they base their fights around "religion". I don't think l religion has a thing to do with it, honestly. I think it's purely cultural.
