That is pretty stupid. You can have a secondary guy that is 6'4 , runs a 4.3, a 44 inch vertical but if he is playing zone and doesn't realize a guy is running behind him, who gives a shite how good of an athlete he is.

Great athletes use their speed to cover up and correct there mistakes. Reggie Nelson and Matt Elam used to do it all the time. The one time the experienced guy has a brain fart, he is gonna get burned cause of the lack of talent.
