Just curious, are you a season ticket holder? If so for how long? What kind of yearly donation do you make? It's possible that the email you got was last attempt to sell tickets before giving them back.

Are you a season ticket holder? What level of donation?

I often get similar emails from the Bama ticket office...at this same point in the summer...for opportunities to buy tickets to games like @Arkansas and home games vs. Sun Belt or FCS teams.

I have never, fricking, ever, gotten an email offer to buy tickets @UT, @LSU, or @Florida. This is my 8th season to have season tickets. After 8 years I still don't have enough points to get an offer with the initial order form that goes out, and there are never any tickets to those games left after the initial offering.

The fact that you even got an email at all, and at this late date, is probably an indication that the Vol ticket office couldn't sell them to season ticket holders of a higher level who in the past would have bought them.

Vol fans can try to spin this all day long, but if they sent tickets back to Georgia, it's an utter embarrassment.
