His spring game looked horrible if that is all you saw at the beginning of the video. The actual game footage later in the video looked better. Like I said, I think we are dealing with an extremely gifted QB physically, but I'm not sure if he has the ability to be the game manager Saban wants. Hell, we may not have anyone on the roster who can be a game manager. If that is the case, Saban might let Kiffin open it up and play a more high risk/high reward style of offense.

I don't get the "gifted physically" comments about this kid. He has a decent arm and can run a little. He doesn't remotely resemble Drew Brees or Michael Vick in either phase. Some of his throws in that video were Jordan Jefferson bad. The good news is Bama is loaded at RB and has some WRs that could bail him out some. The biggest problem Bama may have is he went from getting elite QB coaching to whatever the opposite of that is.

Yea because I totally compared him to an elite NFL QB. Thanks for letting me know that Drew Brees is better than Coker.

Yep. There's the rub. If Coker is "raw" today, he'll be still alive & grazing the grass field by the time fall rolls around.
