I never made the travel roster for conference away games but got to go to Clemson/Virginia my junior year and Cowboys Stadium for Oregon State/SMU my senior year, as well as all the bowl games.
Apparently in the Big 12 there is a rule where you have to take all of your seniors to at least one conference away game per year. Unfortunately no rule like that existed in the MWC. Patterson would do it occasionally before we had our BCS runs but he said he couldn't do it my senior year because he needed all 63 people for our away games.

Yeah for sec away games you can only travel a certain amount, can't remember how many.
