I take one of my box's from a store and hook to it. The tailgater can locate signal on its own. Your don't have to fiddle with anything. Hook up box to tailgater then TV to the box.

We were going to try that but we were told south facing was blocked by the condos behind our Cockaboose so it would be sketchy reception at best.

The guy who installed all of our dishes at our businesses and offices and homes actually came buy our Cockaboose to check it out with an electronic compass tool he has and he said we might just get over the railing on the condo deck behind our Cockaboose but he couldn't guarantee it.
