My then boyfriend, now husband, made the trip over to Starkville for that game.

I don't remember any specific details just a vague recollection of sitting on cold, shitty metal seats and parking in a field.

Watching now.

I loved Derrick Lassic and Lemanski Hall.

I forgot about the awesome 100 years of football patch the team wore that season.

DEUCE!!!!

LANGHAM!!!!

Wow. Look at Alabama with a good kicker.

MSU running out of the wishbone.

We had good kick/punt coverage.

COPELAND!!! Dat defense!

HOLY shite THAT CATCH! Barker had to put his whole body into that throw.

OMG the cowbells.

Jackie Sherrill, y'all.

The cheerleaders' hair!

LAWD the graphics.

CURRY!!!!

FUUUUUUUUMBLE!

TEAUGE!!! lolz he's doing the cabbage patch

Teauge again! God, he was so clutch.

Takeaways-

That was the day Tennessee fired Johnny Majors. Crazy how that still resonates within that program 22 years later.

I really liked the old school interlocking MSU logo.

I forgot Watson Brown was on Sherrill's staff.

First ever SECW crown. Cool.

While I appreciate and love Alabama's recent teams and championships, that 1992 team will always be my favorite. Loved that bunch and I was at every game, home, away, and Sugar Bowl.

Thanks for posting!
