The staff made the initial call to let him back after the judge. Then they said that the team needed to see if he should be back.


Just so I have this clear:

The judge said whatever he said, then coaching staff said 'ok we'll let him back, but only if the team approves it', then that was presented to the team? Is that right?

Yes, it essentially added another hurdle to getting back on the team. If the team said "no" even if the coaches were alright with him coming back, he couldn't come back.

Miles and staff essentially said "you have our vote (coaches), now let's make sure your teammates want you back"
