I'd take 2.
This is another problem. We shouldn't have to choose between those 2. Teams that win championships have a combination of competent coaches AND skilled players.

Well unfortunately we can't just push a button like in a video game and be presented with 50 different choices for what to do next. Our options after December were basically 1)continue with the status quo, or 2)make a change to get better.
Those were our only options, and we did #2.

Our coaching staff top to bottom is right now as good as its been since 2004.
