I'm not certain that he was paid. No evidence has been found to truly support it. My opinion of him is that he had the single greatest college football season I can ever remember. He was an incredible talent. I wish he had stayed at Florida.
All that said, IF he was paid, it didn't make him throw better or run faster. It just made him do those things at AU instead of someplace else.

at the end of the day, I think people have a right to dislike him based on him being a theif.
Accepting money is something the bulk of 4 and 5 star recruits have done IMO.
And I've never met a humble D1 athlete.
