I definitely agree here, but I think there is a notable difference. Gang and drug violence is different in that it doesn't specifically target innocent people. There's the occasional innocent bystander, but by and large those that are going to be targeted elected into that lifestyle and assumed the risks.

That's fricking outlandish. Innocent people, such as my brother, are robbed and murdered over what's in their pockets everyday.
Just because you live in a rough area doesn't mean you elected into any lifestyle.
