I would have ignored the point about the biotech companies doing their own research and submitting it to the FDA too if I was on your side of this debate.
It's certainly noteworthy that there is a revolving door between big biotech companies and the FDA. Perhaps, just maybe, after spending 20+ years working for Monsanto there could be a conflict of interest when it comes time to approving something they've developed.
Wait, am I really responding to someone that thinks 99% of all food eaten in the last 100 years has been GMO?
