Kinda excited for Indian food on Block. Has anyone been to City Pizzeria yet down by Baum? Sounds like a great concept, but bad location.
Louie's space is becoming a place called "The Garage", also out of Oklahoma. It looks like all of their other locations are in metro OKC/Norman Anybody ever been to one?

Haven't heard of the pizza place by Baum. I enjoy good pizza.
Which leads me to this....The new Casey's General Store on Wedington....wow...very surprised by their pizza. I had a thing a couple weeks back and I purchased 5 from them. Very good.

Heard the same thing. I live off Wedington down Salem so I need to try it out. That slims opening on wedington is going to drain my bank.

That slims is an interesting building design. Looks as if they're going to have an outdoor patio on the front. Still takes some getting used to with all the building going on on this side of town.
I hope soon Crosschurch moves out of the strip center. We really need more options on this side of town. The Harps plaza is extremely over priced because there is no other competition.

The Slims in Rogers is the same design with a covered patio. But cross church needs to go I agree. Can't handle that traffic on Sundays when I am trying to get my car off Dickson

I like the new Slim's prototype. It is slick and unique among fast food chains, IMO.

Cross Church is supposed to build a campus in Fayetteville at some point in the near future. Fellowship Bible is, too.
The era of the mega-church is coming to Fayetteville. For the past 20 years its just been up north.

Yea, and it helps their product is good as we'll.
I had heard a Chick Fil A is coming here on Wedington. At our last meeting I learned there is a Kum N Go that's going to be built. The area here will be much more traffic friendly once the Rupple expansion is completed.

Kum & Go is going on Mt. Comfort, right?

If that's the plan, it's changed. I talked with Murphy mgmt a week ago and they were upset. I had been told it would be between the new Walgreens and the fire station on Rupple. Then I was told again it would be in front of Walmart market.
Where did you hear Mt. comfort?

I thought there was one on Wedington already?

The location of Crosschurch in Fayetteville is a strip center. It's not a church. They've outgrown the location and there isn't any parking.
They need to build, badly.

I don't think Fellowship is moving from the B&G club.
I had been told Fellowship made a very large donation to the B&G club to add on the east side. This will be their primary church.
Again, what I've been told.nothing set in stone.

The Fay Planning Commission approved Kum & Go on Mt.Comfort recently.
Its possible there is another one being planned for Wedington, though.

Fellowship recently bought land on 112 near Sam's in Fayetteville, FYI. They may not have any immediate plans for it, but they own it.
"The Grove" is Fellowship's arm in Fayetteville. It is actually a pretty large church now with three services during U of A session, and two per Sunday during summer. I'd estimate they have at least 500 people every Sunday. I've been there recently.

That spot on 112 would be a good location I bet. I'm not sure where Cross would be looking. They should have just built 3 years ago instead of leasing out the shopping center.
I would imagine they underestimated the growth they would have though.

Lots of younger people geared towards the mega-church trend have been going to Fellowship and Cross Church in Benton County for a while. Hell, U of A students have been going to FBC Springdale (now Cross Church) for at least 30 years. Fayetteville never had a similar church of any kind here.
Cross Church and Fellowship both probably underestimate their potential in Fayetteville, honestly. There just hasn't been a large contemporary church in Fayetteville, ever.

I'm a member at Cross here. Used to drive up to Fellowship, but it was too long of a haul. Once Cross opened here I started going.
I don't think they would build anything like what is in Rogers. I would imagine it would be toned down a bit. I've never been to the Rogers campus they have.
