Nah. I won't go seccrazy on y'all. Mentioning the article and dropping it. In the end Auburn made the plays and we didn't.

I just think Sammie Coates example was a poor one to use because technically the play was illegal. I would've used the CJ Uzomah catch where Cyrus Jones got fricked up as a better example.

The article doesn't prove anything anyway.It is just one guy's opinion. A guy I have never heard of before now. Tim Brando looked at the same play and said it was not a penalty

The same SEC officials that provided the rule you cited, studied the play as well and determined that it was not illegal. No one outside of gumps and a few Auburn haters believes this play was illegal. He wasn't 5 yards downfield. He was 3 yards downfield when Marshall started his throwing motion and about 3 1/2 when Marshall released. That's why it wasn't called as explained by the refs. But whatever. Not surprised you are still crying.
