Here is my take on this and start calling me whatever you like, but make sure you look at yourself before you call out anyone else.
1. We all have made comments and done things that are racist or predjudicial in nature.
2. What was done to Sterling was illegal, just like what happened to the Saints a private conversation was made public and consequences will be made.
3. Sterling while not a figure that is beloved makes the NBA money.
4. Until he has done something illegal he has no reason to lose control of the Clippers.
5. If a morals clause was to be envoked, then about 1/3 to 1/2 of the owners and league would be asked to leave. Players and owners are men. They do not have thoughts, emotions, vices that are just exclusive to themselves.
6. Some outlets are jumping on this way to much and making it a bigger story than what it needs to be.
7. It happend, deal with it, when the players are done with their contract, they can choose to leave. They are not guaranteed a spot in the NBA. They can ask for a trade, but it is not in the players best interest financially to tank.

This is very true. If the Clippers are garbage like 95% of their history then this doesn't become as big as it is. The stuff with Elgin Baylor in the mid 2000s was much worse IMO, but you never really heard that much about it because nobody cared about the clippers.
