After former player Paul Oliver's untimely and tragic death last year, Richt rounded up as many former players he could find, to begin an annual tradition and an everyday program to help players after their athletic careers.

The link is video of the first event, the first 30 seconds is a commercial, but the rest is a pretty good breakdown of what Richt is doing at Georgia for former athletes at UGA.

As for my personal interest in this, Paul Oliver went to my high school and my college, he was a couple years younger than me, we didn't know each other, but we had mutual friends. I personally find solace in his death through what Richt is trying to put together for all former student athletes.
