I would love to agree, but we can't predict injuries. If we could, last year would have been different. You are right about Mason, he probably won't surpass the 3,000 yard mark, but that won't help Gurley get to 1700. It will just make teams stack the box against him when they know a run play is coming. Also, he will be splitting a lot of carries with all these backups we have. I think he will be around 1300 yds if he remains healthy.
