Like the title says, will the SEC Network reach everyone in the SE before college football season? If you remember the NFL network wasn't picked up by cable in the Carolina's until the Carolina Panthers played on Thursday night a few years ago.

I wouldn't be shocked at all if DirecTV plays hardball, and doesn't get it in time. Though Dish already having it could force their hand.
I think a poster mentioned that Comcast is waiting till after a merger is approved, which makes sense. Who are they wanting to merge with? Charter? Time Warner?

The games we'd normally see will be broadcast regardless of the network so that shouldn't be a problem at all. The SEC Network is more about adding extra SEC games/making them available to all and adding extra content and more sports right now.

So there shouldn't be a problem. ESPN will carry the games it normally would as will other networks. The SEC Network will carry alternate games/conflicting schedule games and games that would otherwise be PPV.
