It's just not gonna happen. Federal martial law would only be necessary in one instance.
If Obama tried to sign an executive order that left him in office. If that happened... well, the military still wouldn't go with it. He doesn't have much support among the ranks.

He doesn't have much support among the ranks but unless those that left also took the weapons then it really isn't a issue. I don't think an uprising would even reach 10 million able bodied people.
