With 4 gimmie non-conference wins it takes quite an effort to have a losing season.

Probation or a horrible coaching hire, or both.

If you told me that neither LSU or Alabama would have a losing season in the next 20 years I'd be inclined to believe you.

Really no reason either should.

True but the OP made a good point....who would have guessed UF having a losing season. Same thing with AU. UT's current slide. UGA was a surprise in 2010.

If/when it happens, there won't be expectation. It will be a "is this real life?" surprise.
