Wouldn't.this help with title 9? No longer a scholarship to be accounted for ,for the womans sport to coattails off of. No law saying you have to hire an equal amount of men vs woman.

You don't understand the law and the individual department that enforces it. These guys can call themselves employees until they're blue in the face. It doesn't matter. The U.S. Department of Education...the federal department that enforces Title IX...says that they're students. Period. End of discussion. Doesn't matter what some guy at the NLRB says. The U.S. Department of Labor doesn't give a dime to universities. The Department of Education gives mammoth piles of it. And they say that if the universities want to keep getting those massive amounts of cash, male and female students...including students that play sports...have to have the same opportunities and benefits.

Some guy at the NLRB has probably never even heard of Title IX. Has no clue what it says...because it isn't relevant to his job and his area of enforcement. He deals with labor issues. Title IX is an education issue...and yeah, as long as these football players are enrolled in classes, that makes them subject to Title IX.
