Also, here is the box score from the Wisconsin game in November:
DFS, Scottie, and Chris Walker did not play.
Jacob Kurtz, a walk on, played 21 minutes, Eli Carter played 10 minutes, and he hasn't played again since November, because they wanted to RS him and fully rehab the leg he broke at rutgers that wasn't 100% healed. He was barely able to play, but Florida didn't have a lot of options in November this year.
So considering DFS is averaging almost 10 points per game, and Scottie almost 14, including almost 17 in the tourney, and neither played in that game, which was a 6 point loss on the road, I see that game going much differently if they meet in the title.
Against UCONN, Kasey Hill, a very important part of UF's team, didn't play at all, and Scottie had only been back for two games at that point. That was also one of DFS first games and he had a stinker with 6 turnovers and only 3 points. UF as a team had 16 turnovers that day, worst of the season, and still lost on a buzzer beater. Again, No Chris Walker either, and Jacob Kurtz played 6 minutes. Devon Walker only played 2, so really UF only played 6 guys that game.
UF is regularly playing 9 guys now that they are healthy, so it's just a completely different team than when they faced either team, and I feel good about their chances in both games.
