How many Auburn games did you watch? He hit a clutch pass on third down against A&M, the game winning pass against MSU. Do you just write those off because they weren't "notable opponents"?

I watched parts of the Mississippi State, A&M, and Georgia games. I watched the entire Iron Bowl. Mississippi State isn't notable. Texas A&M's defense was absolute crap. Bragging about him hitting major passes against them is like LSU fans bragging about Jennings' comeback drive and touchdown toss. Nick Marshall isn't the worst, but this year he'll either shut up the doubters or be exposed. I won't make a prediction.

When Marshall first started playing it was evident that he had a cannon for an arm but it was probably too much power at times. I think he did pretty good passing. He balls dropped at the worst time, IB early in the 1st he had a long TD dropped by Ricardo Louis.

Anyways, this to me was a great play, 10 seconds left down by 3...

Down by 4 in the BCS NCG with less than 4 minutes left he "marshalled" this 15 yard pass play on 3rd and 11 against the #1 pass defense in CFB in 2013 (albeit skewed because it was an "SEC" team playing in the ACC)...

Later in the same drive

Then Tre Mason trucked a FSU safety and ran it in for the go ahead score, then Auburn's 14th in the SEC pass defense showed why they were 14th in the SEC.

Marshall and the offense did it's part when it mattered on the biggest stage at the biggest time. I think he's a legit Heisman contender. Actually, another year on campus and with so many returning, plus Gus, plus the RB trio, I say, he wins it all on the way to 15-0...
