I read one about rough-housing with your young kids, which turns out is fairly important to their development, even girls, but it did say to let them get the better of you sometimes.

The study I read claimed that if you let them win at games too often they grow up feeling more entitled and become less successful in life bc they aren't willing to work as hard.

On the other hand it said if you never let them win they grow up with a defeatist attitude and are not as successful bc they don't see the point in trying as hard.

As with everything in life, moderation is key.
