Defense with new formations next season

There's been some talk by Coach Ward to try a few different looks on defense (a 4-3 and a 3-4.) He wants to stick with the 4-2-5, but he also wants to throw in some new looks as well and find a way to get some of the talented LB's we have on the field in certain situations.
Do you agree or disagree with the decision to try multiple defensive formations next season?

Would y'all agree with my ranking of the defensive position units going into next year as:
1.LB
2.DL
3.Secondary?

I really don't think we have the personnel on the dline to efficiently run a 3-4, even for a couple plays a game.
Our DTs are built to get into the backfield, not occupying multiple blockers, which is imperative for the DT in a 3-4.
Also, unless he plans on moving a DT out to the other DE spot opposite of Dixon, our DEs are wayyyyyyyyyy too small to be in a 3-4.
If Harris and Engligh are too small to play end in our current system theres no way in shite they'd stand a chance of playing end in a 3-4.
I understand that he wants to disguise some of the ways he sends pressure and confuse the opponents, but I can't help but think our guys wouldn't have it down pat if its only a spot thing we do, leading to busted plays.
Long story short- no I don't agree with it. Sure we have some talented LBs now that could see more time on the field, but we've got some dlinemen coming in that are pretty talented, especially if you look at the 2015 class.
I just think its silly and unnecessary. But I could have my opinion changed.
Most definitely. Although I really like Elder at FS

I think LB will be a strength, but I'm split on DL and Secondary. We replace 3 of 4 of the DL starters, but return 5 of 8 on the 2Deep. We replace 2 of 5 of the DB starters (Spur incl) and return 6 of 10 of the 2 Deep.
I would think the DB's would be ahead of the DL in this situation, but we've also recruited so well at the DL. Lamin is an instant impact player. Jhaustin Thomas just came off of a JUCO 1st Team All American performance at DE. English is like Devin Taylor and we are just waiting for him to fill out his frame and then explode. Then we have 4 Star guys who have been in the system 2+ years who aren't even starting (Green, Griffin, Dukes,) we are deep on the DL.
You could make an argument either way for DB or DL.

We would have 2 options for a NT, but I don't know how good either one would be and they are Dukes and Surratt. They are the only 2 who are remotely close to the desired mix of size/athleticism for a 3-4 NT.

J Thomas, Griffin, Green would have the size to play 3-4 DE, but then it comes down to their speed. I think J Thomas on one side and then whoever wins the battle b/w Griffin and Green on the other.

Elder is a playmaker, I'm good with either him or Marcus back there. We are deep at Safety next season and we'll have 4 guys that can get the job done.
