Injury ends OL Octavius Jackson's football career at Florida

The Gators just can't stay healthy. He will sign a medical hardship waiver and stay on scholarship. :(

Jeez, between injuries and transfers, maybe UF should have signed the 40 players that UT signed.

Obviously kidding, but UF does appear to be even more snakebitten than our guys this year.

I think some crazy Cajun put a curse on UF that will only be broken when the SEC eliminates cross divisional rivals

Hate it for the Gators ... always sad to hear of a young player having his career ended by injury.

Signing the medical hardship will allow Jackson to stay on scholarship at the University of Florida and pursue a degree but will disqualify him from playing football and he will not count against the NCAA’s 85 scholarship limit for the football team.

Still sucks for him though.
