people that are adamantly pro casino seem to see nothing but the almighty dollar. "look at all that money we're passing up on that's going elsewhere!!!1!1"

you frickers do realize money doesn't fix everything, right?

You realize that Arkansas residents are spending this money anyway (whether casino is in OK, MS, or here)? So why not keep that money in-state?

Right. Neither does making something legal or illegal. Money is a medium of exchange that can be abused like almost anything else. So can law yet just because some laws aren't necessarily fair to some people, does that mean we get rid of all laws? Do we get rid of money because some spend it unwisely or rid ourselves of consumables on which it can be unwisely spent?

And RR, did not Jesus himself preach something to the effect of "living in the world but not of the world"? ...or something like that? When he overturned the tables in the temple, wasn't he referring to it not being done in "his house"? But anyway...I think he meant for us to take responsibility for our own houses in the physical and spiritual sense without trying to control the masses. And I don't think he was necessarily against the medium for exchange but was making a point in reference to the abuses and spiritual bondage which can occur without our spiritual awareness and vigilance.

...and I think Jesus was very pissed.

Obviously, I'm not a preacher but I respect your opinion whether I agree with it or not.
