I know we've gone slight off-topic, but I just wanted to drop this here for anyone claiming Nutt could recruit or left anything in the cupboard.

2009 OM Recruiting Class

Nutt signed 37 players that year. 9 of them were 4* or better. Looks GREAT on paper, right?

Any OM fan can go down that list and point 11...ELEVEN...players that ever contributed shite to our program. Only ELEVEN of those players were still around for their senior years. Only TWO of the 4* or better players ever contributed (DT Shack and Bobby Massie).

This trend in Nutt's recruiting only continued. He left this program in shambles.

Now personally, that's why Freeze has gotten a pass on these first two years from me for any shortcomings. He got a pass, and he STILL has gone to two bowls and beaten a top 10 team in his first two years. I'm willing to ride it out and see what he can do with full depth of HIS players.

I didn't say I am ready to fire the guy, just that his on-field performance at the end of the season and his lack of recruiting success over the last few months raises some questions....
