Few programs in America churn out more elite Division 1 talent than Columbus (Ga.) Carver. Right now they have 5-star studs Mekhi Brown and Jawon Pass.

Their next national recruit in the pipeline, Giovonnia Moore, was at A-Day on Saturday.

“I like how Alabama runs its defense,” Moore told 247Sports Sunday afternoon. “(Defensive backs) coach (Kirby) Smart told me he wants me to come to camp this summer. He said he really likes me. (Linebackers) coach (Kevin) Steele says he loves me.”

Alabama, Mississippi State, BYU, North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Florida State, Miami and Georgia are already showing interest in the 2017 prospect.

“I feel Mississippi State is going to offer me first,” Moore said.

This summer, the linebacker will camp at Alabama, North Carolina and Mississippi State. It won’t be long before offers come his way.

“I like Miami, FSU, and Alabama,” he said.

The 6-foot-2, 230-pounder bench presses 315 pounds and carries a 3.2 GPA. As a freshman, Moore racked up 50 tackles and five sacks.
