re: What is your first memory of college football?

My first memory of the existence of college football was probably about 1990-91. I was 3 and sitting on my mother's lap while she had me singing "Yea Alabama, Crimson Tide, look at all the turkeys on the Irish side!" to my grandmother, who was a huge Notre Dame fan.

The first college football game I ever remember seeing was the 1992 Iron Bowl that was played on Thanksgiving Day. I only saw a few glimpses of it though because I really couldn't have cared less about football at that time. I just knew I was an Alabama fan and that's all I cared about.
