I think the OP asked which was the better RB, not which RB played on more successful teams, or which player faced weaker competition for an award based solely on opinion.

Based on raw statistics and late-season performance, a player with Mason's 2013 resume would have won the Heisman with relative ease in 2009. Reversing the situation, a player with Ingram's 2009 stats wouldn't have gotten an invite this year.
