First off I like southern teams but by no means do I root for sec teams other than my own.

The SEC's best teams this year, both from Alabama, were exposed in the hot spotlight. Georgia and Florida were embarrassments, LSU underachieving again. Is the SEC's dominance now just a matter of opinion? Especially considering FSU will be a heavy favorite next year too

The standard might be a little high. 4 teams in top 10.

no the SEC killed itself. LSU lost to SEC teams. Alabama and Auburn (besides FSU) lost to SEC teams. A&M lost to SEC teams. South Carolina lost to SEC teams. and every conference has mediocre programs but i guarantee they will bounce back.

Sure, if you build a SEC team outside of the SEC you have a chance to beat SEC teams.

Considering Alabama just wasn't there in the Sugar Bowl and FSU needed a miracle comeback with a lot of help from the referees to beat Auburn.

To totally ignore the fact that outside those two games and Georgia, the SEC beat the #2 team in the ACC with the #6 team.

No more flaming. :(

Nah. Auburn, Bama, LSU, USC and Mizzou will all be strong as hell next year.

Ole Miss, TAMU & UGA should be top 15-20 as well.

So it makes you feel better just to say FSU was built like an "SEC team"? I'm by no means anything other than an LSU fan, but that's weak sauce brocephalus

Oh and I knew this was going to rustle the jimbobs. All in good discussion

No.

You get embarrassed about college football? That's say more about you than the teams doing the supposed embarrassing IMO. Whatever though.

Auburn- ran out of luck
Alabama- can't win the Sugar Bowl for whatever reason
LSU- lost a ton of talent to the NFL
Georgia- Lost half their offense early on
Florida- imploded

I'm speaking of the good teams being weak again and the great teams getting handled..and in Bama's case manhandled
