Cock fans when the old ball coach hangs up his visor would y'all go after Mark Dantonio? He seems like he would be the logical choice and would probably do better than Stevie boy long term. Thoughts?

He'd definitely be on the list. Doing great at Michigan State and an alum from here.

I'd love the hire but if Spurrier stays here through his contract which is the 2017 season I believe then he might be a little too old to start somewhere new.

His name has been tossed around just as much as Gruden's. The MSU just signed coaching extensions, but then again, Spurrier might be around another 4 seasons, so who knows. It will all come down to who is available whenever it happens.

Would absolutely love Dantonio, depending on the timing of the hire. However, it does concern me that D has never spent any time coaching in the southeast. He's a Midwest guy, despite being a USC alum. Don't know if having his diploma from here is enough to bring him "home." But he should definitely be in the conversation.
