Your criteria for a good city is the businesses based there? Three words: quality of life.

Atlanta wasn't designed for the amount of people jamming its streets and flooding the city with boutique coffee shops on one corner and crack dealers on the other. However, you could live in Athens and commute to Atlanta.

I hope this isn't going to start some backlash of Atlanta supporters arguing over the point. Let's leave it at I prefer smaller cities as opposed to metropolises. Atlanta doesn't suck, its a great city. Yeehaw. Go Atlanta.
