CIY...you missed my point. An article of Clowney early on stated Clowney was not putting in the work in practice and was allowed to (paraphrasing) mail it in. So Clowney didn't practice as hard as his teammated did and he relied on his undoubtedly gifted athleticism to carry him through and it eventually showed. It is the work ethic/attitue that it would be "given" to you I am referring to.

Dear lord, I guess I need to be more direct. I knew exactly what message you were conveying in the OP (Clowney took it easy this year.) I just provided a counter prospective that Jenkins and Clowney were nothing alike b/c even on a year that you think Clowney took off, Clowney was on 1st team All SEC and 1st team All American rosters every year of his 3 year career. Jenkins.

This was Jenkins 2nd season, and he just now got an All SEC nod from the coaches, but not any All American nods.

As far as Ray (another UGA 5 Star DE) he hasn't placed on any All SEC or All American lists.

So while your point is Clowney took off the season, I think the rest of the people that vote on those All ".." lists recognize what happened with the double and triple teams and how teams had to scheme for him. He was again an All SEC an All Amercian this year. Clowney is now going to go in the 1st rounds, make a lot of $ and have a great pro career, while Jenkins and Drew are still trying to get people outside of Georgia to know who they are.

Ok. That's all we're saying. Everything you've typed out is meaningless because we aren't comparing the players for their talent. You just wanted a chance to come in to a thread a pimp your boy. No one cares.
