I've read online a few places that red shirts count against the 35.

The redshirts only count against the 35 if they are on a slice of the 11.7 baseball scholarships.
I'm prettymuch 100% on that. Mstatebaseball and Todd4State have talked about that at length in the(recent) past...
Cohen has already come out and said that he intends to redshirt Ingram and Rooker -- but, like you say, IF they are on baseball scholly, they will still count against the 35...

The long and the short is that there's no damn way that we can kinda figure it out in advance -- and Cohen won't do anything to help us -- other than just post a 35man roster at some point, which still won't tell us the whole story at all...
