The season started off with a Vanderbilt win. A positive note to start on, but Ole Miss fans were still weary of the fact that they barely escaped the game with a win.

Then they played SE Missouri, once again, they barely escaped with a win. Ole Miss were incredibly weary but uncharacteristically enthusiastic.

Then they beat Texas at Texas. Finally Ole Miss fans were becoming somewhat optimistic.

Then they lost to Alabama in an embarrassing fashion. Ole Miss fans were like, "Meh, they're like the best team in the conference or something anyways.".

Then they lost to Auburn and Ole Miss fans were like, 'Well, I marked that as a win pre-season, maybe they were better than we thought.'

Then they lost to Texas A&M and Ole Miss fans were like, 'Well, I guess our only chance to upset anyone is LSU but that'll be impossible because our entire team is injured and we have obvious problems.'

Then they upset LSU. Ole Miss fans rejoiced.

Then they beat Idaho, woo. Then they beat Arkansas, woo, but not very convincingly thus Ole Miss fans started to worry again. Then they beat Troy, Ole Miss fans started to somewhat be optimistic again.

Then their offense completely disappeared and they lost terribly to both Missouri and State and now all the Ole Miss fans are like, "We'll win the recruiting championship."

And now they're losing that as well.
