I understand what you're saying about an Official ignoring and Exec Order, but in this case, I can understand why the guy is doing it based on the principle. We're Americans, not lemurs. He'll chalk this up to Freedom of Speech or something.

Somehow I don't quite believe this particular Sheriff would climb on his soapbox to lecture us all on when the flag should be flown at half mast if a Republican president had issued the order.
