Recent data on college football recruits by state. Georgia #4.

Pretty big drop-off from California to Georgia and Florida has over twice as many as Georgia. Still we average 158 recruits per year which is obviously many times more than enough to fill out our roster each season with Georgia players alone if we could just keep them in state.

We do a decent job of keeping them instate. I'm sure adawgja will say otherwise.

Not surprising when the three above Georgia have at least twice the population as Georgia.

Only one of the top 7 states doesn't have a university with a national championship in the CMR era.
