The point was simply that many carries typical will equal to an injury. Whether through wearing down or a freak hit. The fact that Herschel didn't wear down and played injured (Sugar Bowl vs ND) instead of being "waaaah my glass hip shattered again", shows how much more tough and durable he was than many others he has been compared to.

but besides his hip injury in the NFL, how many other injuries did he rack up while playing? if it's only that one in the NFL, how does that matter when discussing his college career?
