The biggest difference in the game...besides the poor officiating, was the depth on defensive line.

Auburn went 10-12 players deep and constantly rotated players.

A&M's defensive line depth is nowhere close to that.

They started 1 FR, 2 SO, 1 JR on d-line. When Alonzo Williams went down (hasn't played since), they now had a defensive line depth of:

4 true freshmen
1 redshirt freshman
1 sophomore
2 juniors (one just getting over achilles surgery)

That's after losing senior NT Kirby Ennis for the season 2 games prior.
