Has anyone heard anything about his visit this past weekend? Ive seen some his tweets about it and it looked like he had a great time in Columbia

It was an unofficial visit. We'll get an OV later. He had a good time. He liked CookOut. He liked the game and the fans who cheered "We Want Sawyer." We have a good shot of getting him to come to USC, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I remember a time, many years ago, when the taters landed a recruit because they had a soft serve ice cream machine.

I had gotten the impression from previous reports that we were his backup plan so getting him on campus moved us into the lead group, I'd wager. We offered his teammate this wknd, too (a WR committed to Mizzou). I'd rather have Sawyer over Andrew Williams.

It was interesting to see we offered Williams teammate. He has great grades and offers from schools like Yale.
The whole Scott thing is fine. He's just holding out, but he's like Stanley and I believe he's been a silent commit for some time now.

Take it for what it's worth, but Dante's twitter recently is filled with #wecocky #thefuture type of posts with him and his potential new Gamecock teammates. 247 reported it as well. Last weekend's visit helped our case. He even requested that his team play Sandstorm for their rivalry game this weekend.

I hope you are right about Darrell Scott ... but I'm not hearing things that would lead me personally to believe he is going to sign with us. I think it is going to be FSU or Ohio State from what I am hearing up in North Carolina. He supposedly texts with Jay Graham every day, all day. And Everett Withers has some sort of tight connection with his high school coach and his family.
