Blame it on the units on both sides of the ball coughing up a 17 point lead in the 4th quarter and the coaching.
Exactly!

Mizzou was over rated to begin with and based their BCS/SEC worthiness on beating some good teams. Both of the teams that Mizzou beat had already played a brutal schedule and had several key injuries on both sides of the ball.

SC was a better team on paper but it seems like the players just don't give a 110% this year.

When Spurrier said fuk it I'm playing "my game" the second half we see what happened.

Sorry Mizzou but it's your own fault that you set yourself up for disappointment.

I was pulling for Mizzou. The only reason was, "I didn't want Bama to have to play UF, UGA, or SC in the SECCG." I knew that Mizzou was not that good of a team and would not match up well for Bama.

I hope you're not counting UF as the injured team. Because Florida barely beat an injured Mizzou 14-7 in 2012. That's why I knew a healthy Mizzou would beat Florida no matter if UF was injured or not. Not going to have many games with Mizzou only scoring 7pts. UF got lucky in 2012. This year Mizzou scored a lot with a BACKUP/2nd string QB playing. Imagine if Franklin was in there vs UF this year.

An injured 2012 Mizzou was a total of about 10 or 11pts from being a 4-4 SEC team. Remember this team was more banged up than any SEC team this year. You lose a lot of your starting OL, QB hurt/not playing, best RB out, not many SEC teams will win. Barely loss to Vandy and UF in 2012. So I don't see why people didn't expect a healthy Mizzou to be better this year.

But we want to bring up the injury excuse for other SEC teams. That's why people laugh at the SEC, that's why Mizzou is still a top 10 team even with a loss. If you're making excuses for SEC teams losing to Mizzou then you better pray to god teams like Texas, Oklahoma, Okla St don't come to the SEC. And I doubt if you want to see a Clemson and FSU in the SEC if you cry about a Mizzou team beating "injured" teams but didn't give that same exact excuse for Mizzou in 2012. That's some weak arse excuses.

What did Bob Stoops say. Only about 2-3 good teams in the SEC. TAMU proved that shite last season. Now people want to use Mizzou's non conference schedule and other teams injuries. SEC is not deep as people expect. Yes you have 2-3 dominant teams, that's it. Bama, LSU, Florida, Auburn are the ones carrying the SEC.
