Who do we beat to get to 5 wins?? Mississippi schools?

Mississippi State has done absolutely nothing to impress. Auburn is not going to blow anyone away with that defense. We catch Ole Miss at a decent time.

Winning any 2 of those is not a giant stretch, though it is likely a more uphill slog to win the road game.

Jesus Christ I never even CONSIDERED 3-9 when this season started. 5-7 was the worst case, I thought. Good God, we suck.

My take is we're very bland on offense with no playmakers on the outside and without that threat we're very predictable and defendable.

On D, we just don't have the horses. Our LBs wouldn't make all-conference if they played for UCA. We simply are out-manned a lot of the time although the young talent at certain spots is encouraging.

What really pisses me off is the continued increase of sloppy play and mental mistakes. I knew we wouldn't be worth a shite this year, but I thought, "hey, at least we'll play good fundamental football, low on penalties and we won't turn the ball over." UPDATE: we have one of the worst turnover ratios in the country and DAMMIT if I see us job offsides again, stalling a drive.

We have a lot of wood to chop and I don't think we'll be much better off next year, even with a big recruiting season next Spring. We need 2-3 of top 15-20 classes to get this thing going.

I will not be watching the game Sat too painful and will remind me of the nightmare in Fayetteville last yr vs. Bama. Plus, FSU/Clemson is going to be a gangster party...
