I can absolutely guarantee this is a complete lie. As a fan base, no one is making a joke of a child with Down syndrome. Everything I have ever read or known about that situation has AU fans holding great admiration for John Mark's achievements and his loyalty to his school. You may have picked up a comment on a message board to base this opinion on, but I can assure you it's just as false as the idea that AU fans rolled Toomer's Corner when Bryant died. It never happened, but it makes a fun rumor to throw out - enough so that one of your fans was compelled to destroy one of AU's traditions.

As a Bama fan base no one poisioned those trees. One stupid fan did that but the Bama fan base gets painted with a broad brush. Sorry, but this works both ways.
