I disagree. I think Bama has been scarred enough by shitty coaches that we would know to hang on to Richt. If he had all the success he has had at UGA. So stop being a salty cucumber.

I don't. You saw how quickly we got rid of Mike Shula. He went 10-2 in 2005, had us at #3 in the BCS coming into the game with LSU, and won the Cotton Bowl. The next season, we drop 6 games, and he's fired immediately. Many people were saying "WTF?" to that move until we hired Saban.

We did a similar thing to Bill Curry. He was a combined 19-5 in '88 and '89 but we ran him out of town after his third consecutive loss to Auburn.

To have such high expectations going into 2008, only to fall far below them, and then having mediocre 2009 and 2010 seasons would have been the death nail for any coach at Alabama.
