This is, before they play weaker schedules, and maybe a weaker conference championship game. Just bookmark it, if it plays out then ill delete my profile if im wrong.

the computer formula just does not work for that. The schedule has to be abysmally bad - we are talking Boise State, Utah, Houston, etc. for a 1-loss SEC team to be ahead of a major conference team. In the past few years when Alabama lost a game, they needed the undefeated major conference teams ahead of them to lose to have a chance to jump them in the computers and the human polls. It is mathematically impossible for a 1loss SEC team to be ahead of an undefeated PAC 12 team.

ETA - my bad on the double post. Also to be clear, you are stating that a 12-1 SEC champ would be ahead of a 13-0 Oregon correct? Also meant to be a response to nc14.
