State

QB

Tyler Russell (Senior) - Threw for 2,900 yards and 24 TD passes. Looked a little shaky the last two games.

Dak Prescott (Sophomore) - The future. Big and can run, prototypical QB for Mullen's read option offense. Threw for 500 yards and 4 TD's last year. Rushed for 130 yards and 4 TD's. Scored 8 times in a limited role. Should see playing time increase this year to prep taking over the reigns next year.

I would feel comfortable if something happened to Russell, I feel like Prescott is ready.

RB

Very deep position for State

Ladarius Perkins - (Senior) Rushed for 1,100 yards and 8 TD's last year. More of a scat back, also has good hands out of the backfield.

Josh Robinson - 5'9" 225 lb Sophomore Downhill runner, Rushed for 350 yards and a TD last year.

Nick Griffin - 6' 225 lb Junior. Was our best runner until getting hurt last year. Averaged 7 yds a carry. Rushed for 235 yards and a TD last year.

Derrick Milton - 6' 210 lb Sophomore. Had a fumble in the LSU game, didn't really see the field much after that. Rushed for 200 yds and a TD.

Ashton Shumpert - 6'2 215 lb Freshman. Been a monster in Fall Camp, not sure if he redshirts but is a major talent who will factor into the lineup if he doesn't take a redshirt year.

Someone else take it from here.
