Can we do defense instead

QB - Jeff Driskel - Top recruit of his class, has the arm and running ability to be a threat to any team, but his head hasn't been right yet. Doesn't progress reads, doesn't feel pocket collapsing, doesn't throw receivers open. He has a ton of upside, but right now he's average.

RB - Matt Jones - Stud. Beginning of last year he had a hard time just taking what the defense gives. He danced around to much instead of just getting through the hole. Once he learned, he became a threat instantly. Speed and Power. He finally started getting carries towards the end, see his 81 yards vs FSU. Kid should be a stud.

FB - Hunter Joyer - Top 3 fullback in the country.

WR - Q Dunbar - Good player. Not exactly what you want for your number 1 wide out though. Good blocker for sure downfield though really helps the run game.

WR- L Pittman - Not sure if he starts or not still don't know what's going on with Debose going down. Coaches praise him so he may be good.

WR - Demarcus Robinson - I think he starts as a true freshman. He may be the best playmaker on the offense by the end of the season.

F back - Trey Burton - Mister do it all. One of my favorite Gators. Works hard, does his job well. Really a good x factor for us.

TE - Clay Burton - I suspect he starts because he blocks well. Really worried about TE this season.


Offense should be better than last year. Still iffy on it though. Hopefully the same gameplan works. Don't turn it over, control the clock, and wear down the other team by brute force.
